Petoskey, Michigan -

ATTENTION: We interrupt our regularly schedule Caturday programming with an important announcement from Frick & Frack!

To protect the lives of our ferocious felines, prevent pothole formation, and protect important infrastructure investments - Frick and Frack called a bilateral meeting of interested parties to assess our current situation.

The conclusion of these mostly (un)productive meetings was threefold:

1) Add a speed limit to the driveway.
2) Ensure children maintain free and easy access to pets and purrs.
3) Plant more catnip.

While we couldn't promise more catnip. We agreed to a speed limit and unlimited access for children (contingent upon cat napping schedules as yet to be determined).

Joking aside - we (seriously) have a speed limit on the driveway now.

And, we encourage kid time with the cats.

While we haven't been able to make every kid's dream come true, we're successfully entertaining dozens of kids a day with Frick and Frack and it really is special.

If you're here, your kids are here, and you can't easily find the cats - please let one of us know and we'll do our best to track them down. Cute photos are always free of charge. Catnip gratuity is at your discretion 😉

Charlevoix Michigan

SOW - Smoke On The Water recently reopened after being closed for renovations and improvements to their kitchen which was partially supported by a $25,000 grant from the Match on Main program through MEDC MiPlace.

Improvements included purchasing new equipment like an oven & refrigeration, new flooring, lighting, and ceiling in the kitchen, and more. These improvements will enable Smoke on the Water to reduce their wait times and the kitchen staff will be able to work more efficiently.
