The Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce provides business guidance, thought leadership and business knowledge to its members by providing educational programs and events. Through exceptional connections, collaborations and communication, the HSACC acts as a catalyst for civic-economic development alignment in the greater Harbor Springs area by advocating and supporting the entrepreneurial pipeline to maximize business growth and sustainability.
The HSACC has crafted three relevant topic panel & interactive presentations with moderated Q & A discussions for this first Summit. Northwoods Family Nature Club- Spring Birding Bonanza
Come join us for an amazing birding adventure/field trip to the Straights of Mackinac! First we will be stoping by the Mackinac Straights Raptor Watch to see which Eagles, Hawks and Falcons are flying over us on their migratory route. Last year they counted an amazing 49,070 raptors! We will then head just up the road to the shoreline to catch up with the Waterbird Count. If this is not engough birds for you we can check out another great spot in the area! We will spend around 30 minutes in each location and then move on to the next. This will be a great opportunity to learning about bird identification and ecology.
Meet us at Wagbo by 10:00am at the Wagbo farmhouse if you would like to car pool or we will see you there at 11:30am at the Raptor Watch! I encourage you to check out their website it will inspire the inner birder in you. Bring your binoculars!

Morelfest Wine & Dine
Each May, Boyne City fills with hundreds of mushroom lovers from around the country, all seeking that elusive delicacy - the magnificent morel. Found in nearby woods and clearings, morels are favored by those who know their 'shrooms.
As part of the Annual National Morel Mushroom Festival, Boyne Mountain hosts the Morelfest "Wine & Dine" on Friday, May 15. The event takes place at the Beach House restaurant on Deer Lake. This year, the event offers two seatings to accommodate the growing popularity of the event. The first seating is from 5:30 - 7:30pm and the second is 8 - 9:30pm.
Guests are treated to gourmet hors d'oeuvres prepared by the Boyne Mountain culinary team paired with fine wines from Bayside Beverage. Complimentary transportation provided by Charlevoix County Transit and the Boyne Area Chamber is offered from Veteran's Park in Boyne City to the Beach House Restaurant leaving at 5:15pm and returning at 7:30pm to Veteran's Park.

Dirty Dog Dash
Getting your butt kicked never felt so good! The 7th annual Dirty Dog Dash will leave you feeling dirty, tired, and fulfilled. The race route will cover 5 km of mountainous terrain with a bunch of obstacles thrown in along the way. Of course, we'll have live music to keep the party rolling long after the leftover mud from your personal conquest has dried.
In addition to the prizes awarded to the top finishers in each division, we'll crown winners for best costumes (Goofiest Dogs), team spirit (Spirit of the Dog), the "Dirtiest Dog," and more!
