Today, we kindly ask you to support YOUR community.

Eat. Order takeout or delivery from your favorite restaurant. It's as simple as that! Don't forget to post a snap or video of your meal, tagged with #TheGreatAmericanTakeout.

Repeat. The Great American Takeout is only the beginning. Keep supporting Michigan restaurants by ordering takeout or delivery as often as you can.

Boyne Mountain Resort

RESORT UPDATE | March 14, 2020

We didn't anticipate this...

After careful consideration, Boyne Mountain Resort plans to temporarily cease regular operations.

The slopes close tomorrow, Sunday, March 15, at 4:30pm. Hotel guests will be asked to depart from the resort by checkout at 11am on Monday, March 16. This is the first closure of our property since the mid-90s.

The plan is re-open this spring, an official date is not yet available. If you have lodging reservations, rest assured that our representatives are diligently working to contact you to cancel or reschedule your stay. All advance lift ticket and Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark day pass purchases are fully refundable and will automatically be processed by our team. Due to high volumes, refunds could take 7-10 business days to process.

Thank you for an incredible 2019/20 season. ✌️

We are so disappointed we won’t be spending our Canadian March Break with Boyne! It is truly a favourite family destination for us! Stay healthy & safe everyone and we look forward to seeing you in 2021!

Will the closure period be added on to the end of our Avalanche Bay annual passes? What about our gold ski passes? Is there anything being done for the last month of skiing that our family of six pass holders will miss? Thank you!

We have a condo reservation on one of the ski hills for Carnival Weekend. Is that separate? Or will those be closed as well

Will Spring Passes and hotel reservations for Carnival weekend be automatically refunded or is there a need to contact the resort? Ryan Khan

You are the first company that I have heard of so far to PROACTIVELY offer refunds. This is my happy place and will continue to be. Love you guys!

Please recognize the season pass holders. We pay in advance and are your biggest supporters. Thanks!

This is the right thing to do! Thank you Boyne Mountain for #flatteningthecurve it’s a bold and necessary move! ❀️

Thank you Boyne Mountain for thinking of everyone’s health and safety, customers and workers. You guys are amazingπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Are we going to get reimbursed for our season passes?? What about the people the bought spring skiing passes????

This is more a revenue slow down of mud season and unusually warm weather. While less cases of COVID-19 in MT vs MI, Boyne is not closing Big Sky until 4/19. Revenue driven. Coronavirus cases as of 3/14 Michigan: 25 Montana: 4

Thank you for your communication and all you are trying to do in this pandemic environment. We will very much miss our annual Spring Break trip but understand the decision for sure. We love Boyne and will plan 2 trips next season.

We had a great trip in February and will definitely be supporting you next winter!!! Hang in there!!! πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚

IMO this is a crap move by the state and they are over reaching. Movie theaters are still open along with malls. Why not Limit the people going to the cafeteria and in the rental areas. With schools closed I can't think of a better way to keep the kids occupied by being outside skiing or boarding.

Season pass holders get how much of a refund? How do we get our equipment from our locker?

Sorry to hear this, glad we came at Presidents Day. Good luck, be safe and we’ll be back! πŸ˜€

Thank you Boyne Mountain Resort for handling all the last minute Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Week cancellations so well, we appreciate it. Can’t wait to see you next year, stay healthy!

Will you be taking care of your workers that will be out of work during this?

Thank you for doing this. It is much appreciated!!!!

We booked are zip line ahead of time. Will that be reimbursed?

Does this include Big Sky resort?

Does this include Mountain Run?

What about the Highlands? Did you close that too?

Do we need to cancel our spa appointments or are they automatically cancelled?

Rescheduling Carnival weekend for when you open again?
